Due to forecasted poor air quality, all face-to-face classes that are scheduled to meet Tuesday, September 15, are canceled at Cañada College, College of San Mateo and Skyline College.
San Mateo Athletic Club (SMAC) will also be closed Tuesday, September 15.
The new Drive-Up Wi-Fi service for students will open Tuesday as planned.
Most classes and student services are being held online or remotely this semester, due to COVID-19. All classes that are scheduled to meet online/remotely will also continue to take place as planned.
All essential employees (mostly Public Safety, Facilities, ITS) who are scheduled to work on campuses Tuesday should still come to work. N95 respirators are recommended when working outdoors.
These cancellations are due to forecasted AQI in the UNHEALTHY range in San Bruno, San Mateo and Redwood City.
All campuses are expected to open for COVID-limited operations at 5:30 am on Wednesday, September 16. Any further closures will be announced via email and text message to students and employees.
