Due to poor air quality, face-to-face classes that were scheduled to meet today/tonight at 12:00 pm or later at Skyline College are canceled. Any classes that are currently underway on those campuses will continue through their scheduled class ending time.
Most classes and student services are being held online or remotely this semester, due to COVID-19. All classes that are scheduled to meet online/remotely will also continue to take place as planned.
Cañada College and College of San Mateo air quality is currently UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS so classes and other operations continue as scheduled.
All essential employees (mostly Public Safety, Facilities, ITS) who are scheduled to work on campuses today/tonight should still come to work. N95 respirators are recommended when working outdoors.
This cancellation is due to current AQI in the UNHEALTHY range in San Bruno.
Other campus operations that are scheduled for today will continue as planned on all three campuses. This includes class supplies distributions and Bookstore distributions. All campuses are expected to open for COVID-limited operations at 5:30 am on Frid Sept. 11. Any further closures will be announced via email and text message to students and employees
